Who can I speak with to start repairing my credit? I’m a neophyte with money matters and need help.?

Does the bank offer this sort of thing? Should I speak to an accountant? Is there a group that assists with this? I’m kind of tired of being rejected for credit but not understanding why. I have read up on credit information but there’s to much information and I don’t know how to begin.
