What is the penalty for destroying your landlord’s house?

In Detroit this morning, there was a woman who had a dispute with her landlord at a house she was renting (possibly about to face eviction), so she tied a chain around the front wall, and pulled the whole thing down with a pickup truck. The news story on Channel 7 is here: http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/region/detroit/a-woman-tears-down-her-house-using-a-pick-up-truck

What is the penalty for the tenant for doing that? Would landlord’s insurance cover the repairs for the owner for something like that?
