Paying a debt that is not on my credit report- what do I do

QuestionsPaying a debt that is not on my credit report- what do I do

For then entire year of 2016 I have been on a mission to pay off my credit cards. At the end of the month I will have all of my active cards paid off.

Problem is I have two credit cards that have been charged off. 1 is with the collections department of the original creditor, and 1 is with a collection agency. I would galdly offer them a PFD, however, neither collection account is on my credit report.

I’m concerned that if I ask about a PFD they are going to turn around and report these either at the moment I quesiton it, or if I pay them without asking about a PFD they are going to list them as paid collections when they get my money.

What would you suggest doing for this?

I want to buy a house in the next 12-18 months and need to show that these are settled regardless, I just dont want to end up with two collections on my reports.
