I’ve tried searching but couldn’t really find a concrete answer on this. I am familiar with the 5/24 rule, but apart from that, how many inquiries is it generally okay to have from the lender’s perspective? Someone told me 3 inquiries in the past 6 months or less on the bureau they use is ideal. I understand CUs may be more flexible though. Also, any specific banks or CUs which are “inquiry friendly” and don’t mind higher amounts and if so what are they usually fine with?
I know there might not be exact answers available but any help is much appreciated!
