I have no collections being reported to Experian, two to Transunion (one paid, one 6 years old and $ 54), and five to Equifax – the same $ 54 unpaid and four paid for under $ 50 each. All medical. I am working on getting the paid removed from Equifax. Currently my Equifax mortgage FICO is substantially lower than the other two – 40-50 points as of two months ago. Can I expect to see a healthy jump when I am down to only one tiny, ancient collection? I really want to get pre-qualified soon! (Actually I did in June but decided to wait a bit and try to get my score high enough for a lower interest rate – just paid $ 15 for my scores from Experian and that one is up 30 points so things are looking promising). Thanks!
