We are just starting the mortgage process…a refi for approx 66% loan-to-value. No cash out. Approx $ 350,000 loan. Paid $ 525,000 for the house a year and a half ago. Appraised at that time at $ 540,000. We have had it on a bridge loan until now.
We have gotten rates from a couple of area banks as well as a mortgage broker. We’d like to be able to compare rates and terms, closing costs, etc. It’s tough to get the details until you apply.
How many apps do folks usually turn in? Or do you simply pick the best rate and go with that lender?
