QuestionsAccount sent to AmSher Collections

Hi, I’m new here. I’ve read a few other posts having to deal with this collection agency, and have noticed how shady this company can be. Unfortunately, I started research a bit too late, as I have already tried to make a settlement payment with them.  After my research, I know the error of my ways. I am just wondering if there is any advice anyone can give before moving forward.  AmSher says that on THEIR end, my account is settled, but on T-Mobile’s end they still show I owe a balance.  AmSher says that they can reopen the account and finish paying off the balance. That’s when I finally started seeing the red flags, like why could they reopen my account if it’s supposed to be settled? When I first made the settlement payment, they said they would send me a confirmation in the mail. Should I wait for that letter, or is it likely that I’m not even going to be receiving one? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
