Question Regarding “Regular Inquires” Section of Credit Report?
Shouldn’t any inquiries related strictly to Credit Card Collections show up in the “Account Review Inquiries” section of my Credit Report? My understanding is that the “Regular Inquiries” section is strictly for requests for new credit and can only occur with your consent, whereas the “Account Review Inquiries” section is for your Creditors to keeps tabs on you for their risk management. Am I oversimplifying?
I know that these inquiries only count for two points or so, but since I’m looking for any areas where I can increase my score no matter how small, I will dispute these inquiries if they are book-kept in the wrong section.
