Loan experts or anybody who has gotten a loan can you answer my ?
Well a few months ago my husband and I went went to this mortgage company to get an pre-qualification for a home loan. Well the guy there ran our credit and told us that we had to pay a collection due ($ 800+) first to be even considered for an FHA loan. Well that was in July.
Now today out of the blue, another person calls us from another mortgage company and tells us that we do not not need to worry about the medical past due bill, as they don’t look at “medical collections” for loan consideration since we have good credit scores. He said we are able to qualify. Huh? I don’t get it. How come one guy tells us to get our stuff fixed first yet the other guy says its okay not to worry. Thanks for all your input and God Bless.
