Is it realistic to go to law school while supporting a family?

I am a husband and father of one (3 1/2 month old baby). I obtained my BA in 2006, and have been working in full time for the past sever years and want to go to law school.

My questions are these:

Financially, is this possible? My wife makes approximately $ 30k/year, so I would obviously require financial aide, loans or otherwise. Can I expect to obtain enough aid to pay the mortgage/utilities/etc? I basically just want to make sure that we are taken care of while I’m not working.

What kind of time can I expect to put in to classes? Balancing a workload with family life will not be too big of an issue. I worked full time throughout college and graduated magna cum laude.

I am looking to take the LSAT in February ’09, and apply to law school soon after. Is that too late to begin applying for the Fall ’09 semester?

I would really appreciate any advice that anyone with experience in this can offer. This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time and I really feel the benefit for me and my family would pay off in the end if I can work this out. I live in NW Arkansas, by the way, so I’m not expecting a six figure salary anytime soon after graduating.
