Help dealing with a friend?

I need some advice regarding my best friend. She’s a religious person and feels strongly towards god. Of course I do not object to her beliefs. She wants to go to this very expensive college in Virginia Beach which is about a 10 hour drive or more hence we live in Ohio. She wants to go this religious college because they have a theater program she’s interested in. I’m completely fine with this except for a few things. For her to go to college it would cost her 60,000 for four years plus the cost of whatever it is to live down there. She doesn’t have much money and has applied for loans and got no where. I suggested to her that this is a big mistake for money situations. Bush addressed the nation that they are trying to tax each family of four 10,000 or a person 2,300 in taxes to pay the banks and big shots money so people could get credit, mortgages, etc. They are trying hard for a unnoticeable change. If the taxes are voided, then it would be hard for anyone to get a credit, loan, mortgage etc. What makes me angry is that my friend will take this to any consideration that she could be in very big trouble and never be able to pay off the debts she would owe to go to school. I’m very fearful it will be a big mistake. My husband has tried to encourage her to go a local religious college by us that would help with the money situations she wont listen. Her parents and friends of ours have encouraged her not to. I know I can’t tell her what to do but I have to let her do this to make her realize what she’s doing is dumb. Is there anything can be done? I’m afraid not just let it go and let her do what she wants. I’m not jealous of her going. if the college tuition was acceptable I wouldn’t be upset about this so much. I tried not to be all high and mighty about it. but I guess I need to let it go. any suggestions?
