you know those fake credit cards that get mailed to you?

if i just throw them away, could anybody do anything with it, or should they be shredded? my shredder doesn’t have the credit card slot, it only does paper, so these things have just been piling up. i know i could cut them with a pair of scissors, but if i just throw them out, is there any chance of identity theft or anything with them? my name is on them.
