With La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy Eau de Perfume, Guerlain pays tribute to the French flag!

The Guerlain brand is always very proud to highlight its French origins, and for good reason… It is one of the oldest companies in France, whose history dates back to 1828! Possessing exceptional longevity, Guerlain has always known how to bring up to date, by making modern fragrances but resulting from artisanal know-how. However, this is precisely all that is discussed in the limited edition of La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy, a tribute to the French flag reserved for the year 2020.

Guerlain is transforming its emblematic bottle in the colors of France

La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy Eau de Parfum comes in one of Guerlain’s most cult bottles. The La Petite Robe bottle was designed by designer Serge Mansau at the start of the 20th century. It was first used for L’Heure Bleue and Mitsouko perfumes. At that time, his glass was transparent, which is no longer the case today. For La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy, the Guerlain bottle is dressed in blue, white and red lacquering. In its Eau de Parfum version, the color blue dominates. On the other hand, in its Eau de Toilette edition, it is red that takes over. Other emblematic elements of the Guerlain bottle are still present and very identifiable. You will thus recognize the curvature of her shoulders, as sensual as those of a woman, as well as her famous inverted heart-shaped cap.

La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy, a symbol of French elegance

With this new bottle, Guerlain is once again showing itself as a standard bearer of French chic. Since 2012, the La Petite Robe Noire collection seems to have made Paris its kingdom. This small silhouette drawn in Indian ink walks the streets of Paris with its playful step. Moreover, it is precisely in the Guerlain store on the Champs-Élysées that this perfume first saw the light of day. Bright and sophisticated, La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy is the epitome of Parisian chic. Guerlain describes this perfume as “the mischievous banner of French glamor”.

The deliciously fruity scent of La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy Eau de Parfum

Note that this is a reinterpretation of the Guerlain bottle. However, the scent of this juice is identical to that of the previous Eau de Parfum La Petite Robe Noire, designed by perfumer Thierry Wasser. This deliciously playful juice begins with a combination of almond, red berries and bergamot. Thus, the impression that emerges from its top notes is similar to that of a ripe black cherry. Then, her heart becomes more feminine and floral. The rose enters the scene, before being relayed by a more sulphurous background. La Petite Robe Noire So Frenchy Eau de Parfum ends with a marriage of black tea with smoky accents and tonka bean.
