All of a sudden, after years of doing it the other way, paying the bill the day BEFORE the due date cannot be processed in time. Doesn’t it matter when you PAY it not when THEY process it?
In fact, my husband was a bank examiner for the Feds awhile back, and all the new business about electronic funds transfer is very complicated. They “have” my money when I “give” it to them electronically. A “person” does not have to “process” it any longer. That they block me from doing that on certain days cannot be legal. The one answer is so on target. They take what they want and wait for you to fight back. Legally, and expensively. I am 63 and on pension by the way..not “Moneybags” or I wouldn’t charge at all.
