I’m looking for ways to improve my credit that do not involve getting a credit card, I just am not into buying things I can’t afford and then paying interest on them, credit cards are not my thing I suppose.

My credit is not bad, but I haven’t done anything to make it good either. I bought my car used off the owner, I rent an apartment, that doesn’t report on my credit, and my bills are all paid up but they don’t help my credit either.

What are some ways I can boost my credit score since I have neutral credit?
But aren’t there high fees to pay to close the account? Do I have to close the account, or is thee fees to keep it open?
