OK, I have given up on trying to get Midland to drop lower than 60% for a settlement.* Everything I have read online seems to point to the fact that they will just not go any lower.
Having collected the funds to “settle” for 60%, I am looking on some feedback or success stories on how people got the collection removed from their credit reports once they settled.
I am wondering if calling them and stating that I will only pay if they remove the collection from my report might work.* Or if I should pay and then send out letters trying to get it removed.
Thanks for your thoughts and ideas.
