Credit and mortgage advice › Forums › Home Insurance › How much I can afford to buy a house?
I am a first time buyer and makes $ 35,000 a year. I live in Northern, CA and have no debts. If I have $ 5,000 – $ 7000 at hand for downpayment how much do you think I can afford?
I am looking into 100K – 110,000 range, can I afford it? Also, I got a pre qualification letter for 100K from Bank of America, because I applied for Pre-qual. Also I’ve got 718 on my credit score.
If ever I buy a house/condo do I pay property tax, insurance separately from the mortgage? Or is it included on the monthly mortgage? Thanks
