My wife and I moved in with her parents 2.5 years ago, we have been splitting the mortgage since then and intend to do so until its paid off. We don’t have good enough credit to buy the home and we would like to ensure or rights to the property in the event of an unexpected tragedy. Would a Warranty deed do this? should we hire a lawyer? could the bank take it away? please help
edit: the four of us agree to this and i understand I don’t have any “rights” at this time, they want to make this transition as much as we do so lets answer assuming the four of us have talked about this and im just the one actually looking for the answer
