can you sue a non profit organization?

i recently used a non profit to file a RESPA claim for a piece of real estate i own. within six months the home had foreclosed and taken back by the bank. i alerted the individual i was working with when no response to the RESPA was evident. i alerted him when the home went to notice of default then foreclosure and provided him withi the notice of trustee sale two weeks prior to the date of sale.
As i gather my paperwork – I am trying to find the best avenue to approach when I find that the RESPA papers – the copies I have – use my current address and not the property in guestion. In other words – he filed the wrong address at the wrong bank. I never stood a chance. Any thoughts?
