Can a credit card account closed for inactivity hurt your credit score?

Somehow I was issued a credit card even though I never received it, activated it, or received monthly statements.

I found out about it when I ran a credit report on myself and it turned up there, though luckily it was never obtained by anyone else for fraudulent use.

When I finally got around to calling the issuing bank to get the account information, they told me the account had been closed a couple of weeks ago because of inactivity.

My credit score doesn’t appear to have been affected by this as I just checked and as of December 19 (two weeks after the bank closed the credit card account) it was 776 with no negative score factors, as determined by Experian.

Is it possible the deactivation of my account for inactivity could come back affect my score, or is this all in my past now?
