Advice about buying a house previously underpinned to fix subsidence.?

The house in ??? previously sank due to subsidence, the real estate showed us photographic proof of the underpinning work done to fix the problem as the house is built on what they refer to as black soil it is in Ipswich QLD. There is a substantial lean to the floor still on the inside of the house which can be rectified by placing joists over the existing floor and leveling off as the ceilings are higher than normal in this part of the house. What are the chances of this problem happening again? Please need an honest opinion on wether we would be safe to make an offer or should we just walk away. The house suits in every other way it is (as my husband described) very pissed.
