One positive account and one negative account on the report causes credit score to drop. Therefore, taking care of the negative balance while continuing on-time payments for a small loan (positive account) should bring the scores up, but how much and how long does it take for these changes to show? There are many other things that are involved in credit score rating as I understand it, but these are my concerns as this negative issue and positive account are the only two things that are affecting the score. I’m a beginner so take it easy. Rudeness is unnecessary.
